Three Things: Cause I love my Body So much and You Should As Well
Hurray, it's FRI YAY everyone!
Can I just share? :)
I just had the most beautiful day today. :) There's so much in us, within and outside of us that we should be grateful for. And sometimes, because we expect too much and think too much of our lives, we fail to see them. I mean, we should be thankful that we're able to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, breathe, be able to see with our eyes..smell that warm dark cocoa latteee...feel our body...
And I hope you're having one too! I feel so light from last week's Juice Cleanse and so rejuvenated seeing all my wonderful friends from college.
It's just amazing!
I've learned that aside from nourishing ourselves with good, compassionately delicious food, we must also nourish our spiritual, social and emotional aspect of ourselves. That's why we feel so good whenever we share good laughs, listen to each other's crazy stories about life and enjoy good food together.

Oh talk about food. :) It just tastes so much better when you share it with people you love. One thing I've noticed on special occasions, and I'm pretty sure you do as well..people get more relaxed and happy, especially on social events when they start eating. :) riiiight? :)
Well, most especially if the food looks pretty appetizing as this. :)
This Corn and Shrimp Agnolotti is one of my favourite pasta dishes from Wildflour Bakery & Cafe here in Manila. :) I love their Cacio Y Pepe dish as well.
I think we have teased our tastebuds so much and should now redirect back to the Three Things which I'm supposed to share with you guys. :)
Loving one's Self means taking care of one's body, and that for me, goes way beyond food. In my journey of discovering methods to heal , I have learned of so many things regarding chakras, emotions, meridians, and all other alternative types of healing modalities that does not only address the physical.
The passion and hunger that I have with wanting to be a pastry chef way back then is as strong as how I feel with pursuing this path now, it's just that I have yet to find my focus, a ground in which I could balance my love for the Arts, for a Vibrant Health, Good food, and A Physically Active Life (talk about Triathlons!) . :)
These are things I want to try in the next few months and maybe you could share your own experience guys!
Acupuncture

Photo from Huffington Post ( they say it's proven to RELIEVE STRESS ) |
I've always wanted to try this though to be honest, the thought of needles makes me a bit scared at the most. But it has proven to be one of the most effective therapeutic modality for chronic pain or blockages in our bodies which definitely outweighs the the fear. :)
These are just a few establishments that offer acupuncture services here in the Philippines. Just in case you have tried one, pretty pretty please let me know. :)
Centro Holistico

The Farm at San Benito
Lymphatic Drainage Massage

I am in no way a doctor of any sort ( yet I am my own doctor, oh only if you know the stuff that I do, creating a food journal, monitoring my daily habits and routines and adjusting them..more of like a self examination to improve my state of health and wellness..) but declogging blockages in our system, especially with our lymphatic system will definitely help to restore vitality in our bodies. I seriously want one noooow!!!!!
Here's a more detailed explanation on its role: http://www.livescience.com/26983-lymphatic-system.html
Cause I leave science to the experts! LOL!
I'm getting one at Neo Spa at BGC next month and will definitely let you know about my experience on this!
Liver Flush
I get a lot of information from the Internet on this one and such vast amount overwhelms me. I would like to get help from you guys on this one especially if you have already tried it. I mean, some would say to drink apple juice every morning, have grapefruits, castor oil, etc..
So if you know a protocol that's really effective, for the love of sharing a healthy, vibrant and a happy life..please share it!!!
Sharing is cariiing!!! <3 <3 <3

Lots of liver loving!!!
