What a great way it was to have started my work day with a surprise visit from my forever Cupcake Buddy who apparently has an unfailing love for all things Red Velvet! <3

And I was so happy that you're super game about it! <3 Well, you always were for anything that has red and velvet in it. ;)
Red Velvet Ice Cream...
Mela and I love NEW PLACES, NEW THINGS AND OFCOURSE, NEW FOOD TO TRY WITH RED VELVET ON IT! :)
And it was just heaven on earth when we discovered this quaint local ice cream shop along the streets of Alexandria called Pop's! :D
And oh yes, as you can see above, Mela had the red velvet ice cream..hahaha and I had the cookie dough brownie one! <3 <3 <3

DC must be the cupcake capital of the United States(well, aside from the fact that it really is THE CAPITAL of US. LOL) cause we never ran out of cupcake shops to visit when we were there! :))) And one of the MUST TRY( not only for their red velvet) is Baked & Wired Cafe that's located at Georgetown DC. I sweaaaar by their strawberry cupcake guys!

To Die For is definitely an understatement for their baked goodieees! <3 Too bad we weren't able to try their coffee!
Ha! One good reason to really go back there soon! <3

But really, I just wanted to say thank you..you have no idea how much I really appreciate you visiting me at work..and ofcourse, those nuggets of wisdom that you always share with me - they're priceless!!!
You are indeed the sister that I never had Mela! :)
And I'm just so grateful that I've met you in DC cause I don't think I would've that much fun without you there Cupcake Buddy! ;)
