Cake Love: Day 10 of 340 Day Pastry Project Challenge
Have you found something that you love doing so much that you just can't help but smile despite you being so tired and all that?
Despite everyone else telling you that you're crazy for taking such path?
I'd like to call it Cake Love.
or Pastry Love...
or just love.
Whatever, not making sense anymore. HAHA.
Which reminds me...
Back in my travel adventures in Washington, I've stumbled across this quaint little pastry shop in U Street called Cake Love.
Who wouldn't be enticed with these generously frosted cakes and cupcakes that lure you inside their shop, right? ;)

And I knew right there and then, I had to have a bite or two or more of these goodies. Not only did I discover how rich and decadent their cream cheese frosting is, I've also learned that Cake Love is actually owned by a lawyer-turned-pastry chef who bravely(and obviously) made the shift to doing what he love best.
CAKES.
Tee Hee. ;)
So if by any means or circumstance that you're going to DC, don't EVER EVER FORGET to drop by Cake Love.
I swear by their Red Velvet cupcake guys...
I SWEAR. ;)
How many times did I say swear? hahaha. :D
And the rest, as they always say, is HISTORY.
Or you could possibly check it all out on Google, or Yahoo if you prefer. HAHAHAH.
And today, I'm sharing with you the first every Birthday Cheesecake that I ever plated in my work so far, and simple as this may seem, I know that I've put my heart out in making it. I've plated this dessert for quite some time now, bu the mere fact that this was for someone who's celebrating his special day made me exert more effort - and hopefully, he got my wonderful message across as well! :D
Happy birthdaaaaaaaaaay! <3 Spreading the love, one cake at a time! <3
Love lots,
Les Patisserie Princess
