Yer Oat Cakes Just Got Healthier!

I've been seriously craving for pancakes for the past few weeks.

LIKE A MAJOR MAJOR CRAVING FOR those warm, fluffy cakes drizzled with maple syrup, and finally topped with my favorite fruits.

UGH.

I'm such a sucker for all things sweet.

(AND TO BE HONEST, I WAS GETTING TIRED OF MY OATMEAL BREAKFAST ROUTINE)

HAHA!

So I looked for healthy recipes on the web and modified it to my taste. I guess the recipe stayed on my desk for a few weeks before finally I DECIDED to make them despite a super tight morning schedule!

Here's the recipe guys! It's really really easy to make I swear!

You just have to have the JUST DO IT attitude!

or else...

You'll just end up eating stacks of those unhealthy stuff!

Which you don't want right? :)

Enjoy!

Banana Berry Oat Cakes

Ingredients:

3 egg whites
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup soy milk(or your milk of preference)
1 large mashed banana
pinch of cinnamon(adjust to your taste preference, though the more the BETTER!haha!)
1/4 cup of wheat flour(a healthier alternative than all purpose flour)

Directions:

I'm not going to make this part so hard for you.

Cause with all the time that I spend reading and modifying recipes on the Internet...

I can seriously feel how hard it is to read everything with such formality when the only thing that it tells you is to combine everything and fry it(well, ofcourse, dishes that require certain skills would need such...but for some good ole pancakes? NAH.)

Just prepare everything that you need first. DOUBLE(or even TRIPLE) the recipe if you MUST.

When you've got everything on hand, place all the ingredients into a blender...

Make sure everything's incorporated well, preheat your non stick pans with a few teaspoons of vegetable oil spread(which looks and tastes like Danish butter, just that they're just a million times healthier!), start pouring your oat cake batter and....

VOILAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

YOU JUST GOT YOURSELF A HEALTHILICIOUS PANCAKE FOR BREAKFAST!

Good thing we had frozen mixed berries and a couple of bananas in hand!

Toss your favorite fruits, some maple syrup or some Greek yogurt with fruits for a healthier option,

and your body's going to thank you BIG TIME for such a DELISH & HEALTHY MEAL! ;)
