Your Not-Oh So Ordinary 20 Must things to Do before Turning Twenty
So, I’ve been thinking, summer’s just a few months away and so
is my twentieth birthday! That’s why as early as now, I’ve completed my list of
things that I not only want to do, but things that I must do in my last “teenage
years” as others would’ve called it! Though I believe that age should not
really a big thing, cause I want to be forever young, happy & carefree, it
would be nice to make a list of things that you would like to successfully
accomplish before your special day, right? J Most especially if it’s something not
only to make yourself a better & a wiser person, but something that you can
do for others especially for your loved ones as well.
I did a little research about this and found a lot of people
who made their list as well. The most interesting one that I have seen yet is that from the Huffington Post's website!
And to make it
more fun especially if you’re turning 20
this year too, join me in taking a
quick review of whether
or not we both have done the things that they have on
their list before doing our own version!
Sounds good, yea?
So if I were you, if you're really not busy at this point of time(which I guess you're not cause you've reached this part of my blog!), I'll get a pen and paper, or just even open a Word app on your laptop and help me examine the list! You'll never know, you might have done all of it already without even noticing! :DDD Exciitiiing right? :D
Let’s do this guys! :D
Let’s start
from Huffington Post’s version!
1. Have an Epic Kiss.
Uhm. Ok. Haha. Well, every person who had been in a relationship before would definitely thought that they had their Epic Kiss already! I had once been in a relationship but I have yet to wait for that Epic Kiss moment which I hope would happen with the right person at the right place and most importantly, in God's perfect timing. :) So, did you have yours already? ;)
2. Take a Road Trip.
THIS IS DEFINITELY A CHECK!
Who in the world hasn't been on a road trip every once in a while with family & friends? I mean, seriously. Haha! The most recent one that I had was with Tita Len's family here in LA when we spent Christmas and pre New Year with snooooow at Lake Arrowhead! It's just an hour and a half away from the foot of the mountain It was definitely a one of a kind experience cause it was my first time to celebrate the holidays away from my family but the good side is that I had my FIRST EVER LEGIT WHITE CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE! :)))))

I even got the chance to play in the snow and do some Tobogoniiii!!!!

3. Try a food you can't pronounce.
DEFINITELY A YES!!! Back in 2010, I had my first ever trip to Europe in the magnificent city of Prague in Czech Republic as part of a student delegation for the National Model United Nations and I can say that it was definitely an experience of a lifetime! Sooo muuuch goood foood to eat! I remember this one time in Vienna while we're having our last dinner, I can't decide on what to order and just randomly picked this fancy thing that I CAN'T PROPERLY PRONOUNCE during that time! It's called, SCHNITZEL. And to my disappointment, hahahahah! it was just plain breaded porkchop! But it was still goood especially with mashed potatoes on the side! :) OHYMYYYY!! Now I miss Prague & Europe & the food!!!
Here are some of the pictures guuys!
FEAST YOUR EYES!!! :D

NOT YET!
But I definitely would love to do this VERY SOON! :)
19. Go to the Movies or Dinner by yourself.
NOT NECESSARILY DINNER but I've been to breakfast & lunch by myself and it's just a nice experience. Before, i was afraid of eating out by myself cause I thought it was boring not to have someone to eat out with. But then, when I tried it, not only once but a lot of times especially when I was exploring DC, I realized that it's something that I could do more often. It's like having a date with yourself. If you haven't done it, you should try it sometime! It gives you that liberating feeling and assurance that no matter what, at the end of the day, your happiness depends on yourself. You can't rely on other people for you to be happy. You can't rely on circumstances in your life to make you happy. Only you yourself could decide. So choose wisely. :)
FIRST TIME TO EAT AT FIVE GUYS BURGER & FRIIIEES in Columbia Heights, DC!!! It's definitely one of the BEST BURGEEERS THAT I'VE TASTED EVER! Their Cajun fries are reallyyyyy goood tooo!!! :)))))))

At this exotic cafe in Old Town Pasadena! :))))) I believe it's a place called Yahiro. I'm not sure though but what I'm certain about is that they don't only have good tacos, they've got a great staff as well! :)

A day before my interview at the Irish Embassy in DC, I ate a Shepherd's Pie in an Irish pub near Pentagon City! :)) MAN IT WAS SOOO GOOOOD!!!

20. Learn to cook your favorite meal.
NOT YET!
I would really love to learn how my mother cooks the perfect carbonara ever!!!
