Why I think Newton’s A Genius

Newton’s Third Law states that, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. “(http://www.physicsclassroom.com/class/newtlaws/Lesson-4/Newton-s-Third-Law ).

With just that, and I don’t speak only for myself for the world recognizes such fact as true, I strongly believe that Newton is a Genius.

But it doesn't stop there. Two days ago, a good friend of mine, who apparently is a genius himself as well, invited me to go to KarateDo training while I was in the middle of Yoga Practice. I’ve always wanted to try Karate before, and I only had the chance that day. And guys, if you’d like me to sum up the whole experience in one word, it would be, “surreal.”

You may ask why.

For one, they have a Sensei.

Well, it’s not that. HAHA.

I was opened to this world of discipline, focus and immense dedication to something. And for that night, it was the Art of Karate. Every single breath, body movement and training, every single leg squat, push up, arm punch, arm brush – every single one of them, is directed to achieve a certain goal.

It was as if dancing, in a stricter manner of course, in which every step brings you in harmony with the music, and as with Karate, every single movement brings you deeper into the practice – making you stronger and able to perform ka-tas with such mind blowing precision and flow. That’s how I see it observing not only our Sensei but also fellow students as well.

To attain such requires not only a strong physique but also a positive and enduring mental attitude.

“Pain is something that you create and feel in your mind.” That’s what our Sensei said.
This is where I came to realize how genius of a person Newton is. I mean, he knew it all along. It was never a Secret. For in everything we think, we feel and we do, there is an equal and opposite effect, or reaction..a result..

No wonder Mr. Cookie Man( whom I’ve known for almost two and a half years now from that fortunate meeting in a connecting flight to Washington ) had always told me to be INTENTIONAL. And so should you. That’s why I’m sharing this with you cause I believe that once a person fully awakened and tapped into our potential, the possibilities of the experiences and things one could create are ENDLESS.

First step is AWARENESS of the TRUTH. That everything is ENERGY.

If you want to be the BEST in something, be it Yoga (call me biased haha I LOVE YOGA), Karate, Swimming, Boxing, or even in school and at work, you’ve got to recognize that how far you could go and the best you could be LIES WITHIN YOU.

Yet, there’s such a concept of LETTING GO. It’s about finding that balance between doing the BEST that you can, training your mind, body and soul to have the skill, discipline and most importantly heart to achieve what it is that you want, and at the same time, trusting in that the tumblers of the Universe, would bring you to Your Path.

I find that striking that balance of Doing and Surrender quite as a Challenge and it’s that thrill of the journey that keeps me going, that keeps me trusting.

So, take the time and think of something that YOU want to be EXTREMELY GOOD AT.
As with KarateDo, I remember asking our Sensei..

“What is IT’S end goal? “

To defeat oneself, he replied.

And with that, I took one deep breath, and did an EXTRA 10 more sets of beginner’s push ups. ;)
