Why It's Okay to Give In Sometimes: Burger at Banapple's

It's been a while since I've had my last post on food, specifically on  eating out. :)

And have I mentioned? Ever since I've started to work in the kitchen(whether that be in the cold or hot line), hahah! FUNNY. I just typed hold awhile ago...

HOLD - now officially a term for people who have worked both in the Hot and Cold section. LOLS.

Lots of LOLS. Haha.

I've appreciated eating out so much that I'd gorge down a huge meal in one seating (only in special occasions that call for pigging out. haha)

But in the past few months, I've thought of going vegan..meaning no meat..well, here's a simple equation.

NO MEAT = NO BURGER

NO BURGER = ?

I got used to not eating burgers for a while.

And it seemed okay. Haha.

Not until I got super hungry during lunchtime while I was out at Fort the other day, visiting my Wholesome family. :)

I was torn between getting  their House Salad(which I always get whenever we eat in Banapple) or this.

And I was like, okay. I know I wanna eat healthy..be healthy and stay healthy.

But i seriously...

Seriously, haven't eaten a burger for quite some time.

And so, I gave in. :) HAHAHA.

Who would've thought that Banapple, which is actually known for it scrumptious pies and desserts would actually have an equally delicious burger? :))))))))))))

BTW, I got the burger with the Galactica thing on its name. :) Jalapeno mayo. Cheese. Oooh. Yum.

Good Gracious.

And their fries, so YUM I SWEAR. I can't figure out the spices that they used but it's so good, even Five Guy's Cajun Fries in DC would cry. Haha!

I even finished the whole thing. Well, not the burger though. Haha. But I can say that I loved every moment of eating it. :) Maybe I was just really hungry that time but I knew I made the right choice of giving in sometimes.. :)

And as with life, it's nice to let loose..to let go of certain things that keep on weighing us down..the restrictions that we put in ourselves...the goals that we keep on reaching...

It's nice to give in, let go and most importantly...

LET GOD. :)

And as with my journey to a fit and healthy life, it's okay to give in sometimes. And so do you. ;)

Try nyo! ;)

"Try nyo" is a Filipino- English word which means, "Try it."

LOL.
