The Art of Plating: A Seriously Serious Business: Day 1 of Pastry Project Challenge

Food is not something that you just eat to satisfy your hunger. It's a sacred ritual that a man's five senses should enjoy..especially when eating desserts.


First you get caught by its beauty..............one can instantly differentiate a dessert plated with  immense thought, intricacy and skill..every single detail counts..not only for aesthetics but of course for the taste as well. :D

Day 1 of my 340 Day Pastry Project Challenge taught me this. Food, specifically desserts, should taste as good as it looks. Well I guess you can phrase it both ways.



Bottom line is, whenever one makes a certain dessert, one should strongly consider how it is presented as much as how it would taste. 

And with this amazing place that I'm currently working at, they take plating from their salads to entrees and how could we ever forget desserts - seriously.
